Positive: The accommodation is amazing. Lamin, Jeanette and their team (Buba, Linda and Sabina) made us feel so welcome. It felt very safe and also welcoming. The team all looked after us really well and we felt part of the family. We want to thank Lamin, Jeanette and Buba, Linda and Sabina for making our stay at Tinjala Lodge so special and a trip we will remember for ever. They all made sure our stay was perfect. The lodge is beautiful and lives up to the pictures, in fact it's better than the pictures. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast. Buba and Linda keep the pool and pool area really clean. The rooms are beautiful too. The lodge is only a short walk to the main coast road where there are some small shops and many taxis (although we travelled mainly in the local "Gele Gele" mini buses). It's so peaceful at night and in the mornings with bird sounds. We also visited Lamin's other Lodge by the river, about 15 mins drive from Tinjala. We felt like family and well looked after. If you want a great base to explore all over the Gambia, this is it.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.
